I had no expectations for this rock. It was cheap ($12 CDN). My first attempt at rotary tumbling failed in polish, so I sent them back to stage 2 to add plastic tumbler beads (earlier videos). This time, I am happy with the results and here is the edited video (without the error):

Nice video and tumbles...… I refuse to use metal strainers anymore, they were scratching my rock up pretty good! Did you order your material off Ebay, the bags look very familiar... AS said earlier, NICE!

Great video thanks for posting. I like the background music. Much quieter than my tumblers!

Another good video greig , really like your channel. Al Thanks Al. It is a bit intimidating to post to this forum with all of the experts, but I do enjoy tumbling and documenting the results. I look at comments and learn quite a bit from them.

Nice video and tumbles...… I refuse to use metal strainers anymore, they were scratching my rock up pretty good! Did you order your material off Ebay, the bags look very familiar... AS said earlier, NICE! I try to be careful with the metal strainers and it is shear laziness that I don't use a plastic one sometimes. Most often, I grab whatever looks clean and can easily find. I have too much "stuff" and need to scrub some of it. The material was from a sales table at a western Ontario mineral show. The company is called Robert Hall Originals (near Cambridge, Ontario). I recall talking to the owner to get his permission to use his name if I make a video (he was OK with it). Funny how some people don't want to be identified and yet it is pretty good free advertising for their business. In fact, anytime someone thinks it is a bad idea has turned out to be selling marginal rocks. So maybe there is a lesson for anybody, "Hey, I will buy this rock, is it OK to make a Youtube video and tell them where I got it?". If they say "no", run away. ;-)

Wonderful video! Thank you taking the time to record your process :-) I adore moss agate and I love how yours turned out.

Another good video greig , really like your channel. Al Thanks Al. It is a bit intimidating to post to this forum with all of the experts, but I do enjoy tumbling and documenting the results. I look at comments and learn quite a bit from them. I hear you about the experience here but it certainly helps that so many of the more seasoned members are friendly and eager to help. It is also fun to read posts from the past when some of the now experts were just starting out and to see how far they have come. Al
