My first batch is in for the laaaaaast day. The urge to take it out early is soooo bad! How do you guys stand it?! I know I have to learn to be patient, but that's sure asking a lot.

It doesn’t hurt to pull a couple stones and check Them out then put them back in and run it

Simple, do not resist the urge to check! Especially with a vibe, it is so easy. I also think it is smart. At 500 grit and beyond I pull some every day and rinse one or two just to make sure everything looks good and we're on track. That being said, everything runs until it is ready to move to the next stage or it is done with polish. We're now all about getting the best results possible and are okay if it takes a bit longer. It is definitely easier to be patient the more loads you get under your belt.

Yes, I have been checking a few. I'm already thinking about running the lapis by itself if it doesn't work out. I guess that's the thing I am most anxious about- the lapis. Most of it was ok after the 500. I'm just really ready for them to come out. LOL!

Don't fret it , after a few hundred batches the patience thing gets a bit easier .

My solution at one point to run up to 9 barrels at a time, so there was something to check and play with every weekend. :-D
