After seeing Christopher's amazing fire agates I decided to cut into a chuck of chalcedony a friend sent me a while back. She found it about two hours north of Phoenix. I didn't see any fire, but I did make some super cool tiny cabs out of the cuttings. I'm wondering what to call them? Arizona Chalcedony? Fire Agate matrix? Any idea how I'd price them if I decide to make more and sell? Does anyone know where I can get good colorful rough that may contain fire? christopherl1234 Thanks for the inspiration!

Takes a nice polish. You need some crumpets to go with your tea. Tea & crumpets anyone

Since it is bands of white and brown chalcedony, you could call it sardonyx.

One would be eye agate, maybe two. They all appear to have a typical agate banding.
