Greetings. I have been lurking around on this forum for about the past 6 months. I'm still very new to tumbling and have gotten a lot of great advice already! I especially love looking at the pictures. I mostly tumble beach rocks from the Lake Ontario area with a little river rock and some pretty rocks my son sends me from England. I was going to upload a picture, but I haven't set that up yet so it will have to wait until later. I have a question I'm getting ready to post about vibratory tumblers - so I thought I would come in here first and say hello. EDIT: Well I've sorta figured out the pictures - just not how to place it below the message - LOL.

Welcome from Lexington. I noticed, no KY rocks. Not yet! Although we just got a few tons of river rock to landscape our backyard. Lots of pretties in there - can't wait to tumble some of them. However even though we bought it local, I have no idea where it is actually from.

Welcome lthornton from northern CA. Kentucky is special to me because my dad grew up there around the Danville area and growing up I got to spend a few summers on my grand parents farm before they passed away. This California boy was like a fish out of water at times cutting and wrapping tobacco and stacking hay behind the bailer but it's some of my fondest memories and it instilled in me a deep love of country and rural ways.
