I pulled a Puny amount of fossils out of the tumbler using Rob's Jugglerguy 's recipe, incidentally if you haven't tried it, It kicks ass is all I can say! I like it when things that work an his recipe delivers. I have added 20 stones in a Lot"O" with no problems so I fired up a Thumler B and filled it up per Rob's Instructions and ran it through the first two tumbling stages. And since they have been sitting in the ON DECK CIRCLE for a couple days. Tonight I freed up up the UV-18 with a Mixed Batch that finished, so I changed Bowls with an Ole Bowl I had, and added 10 + lbs of Petoskey Stones Corn Cobb media and 500G AO which is the 3rd stage of Rob's recipe. They will run for 3 days then bowl will be washed out dried and switched over to 3 days in the Polish Stage. I will add to this post with my results. Below are some pics and Video of the UV-18 in action. Rob how do you think the last two stages would work on Shell's? The Wife has a Jar of Shells I would like to try. Rob's Post and Recipe here. After these two pictures is the UV-18 Video

Oh, I did miss that. Sorry. I have no idea what would happen to a shell. I'd say try it and find out.

Oh wow! Looks like we're both working with the corn cob method - I just posted my experience with corn cob in the rotary tumbler in the tutorial thread. I really enjoy seeing your experience in the vibe as well. I am really, really enjoying this dry process and it's encouraging me to work with alot of softer stones that I'd normally be really hesitant to try
