I have a covered patio outside my living room I sit in a chair and smoke cigars looking at slabs to make cabs. No,no,no,yes,no. The four pears shapes were no,no,no,no. Choices are more limited now. 2 willow Creek, Morrisonite, opalized wood, turqoise and pet wood.

Good Looking Material.... I am sure there are many things better than a good cigar, but right now, I can't think of what they might be. ...

I wish I had your source for landscape jasper, its so clean looking. I bought some a while back and its "dirty" looking. Tiny black spots all over.

I bought a lot of material on auction 10-15 years ago. I don't buy much now because of selection and price. I generally do a good job buying from pictures and won't buy a jasper slab that is "dirty" even when the scene is nice. I consider it a defect as bad as vugs and fractures but those can be worked around.
