That's kinda a loaded question as a lot will depend on the market/show. Obviously, I can't help, as I have never done a show myself esp with tumbles, but I would like to point out that you should correct the spelling of obsidian in the next to last picture.
Good luck Bob and be sure to advertise that you are an award winning tumbler.

Tumbles?
Smaller than a quarter, 2 for $1. Larger than a quarter $1/ea. extra large? $5/ea
adjust as you see fit. Some folks will consider this outrageous pricing, others will consider it cheap.

I think those prices are just fine. Only persons that don't tumble (and so don't understand the costs and time involved) will consider this outrageous pricing. Depending on the material, some tumbles could go for more.

Yes, GOOD LUCK AT THE SHOW!!
ETA - Almost didn't see it, but change Unakite also.

People that do not tumble make up 99.9% of the population. I always thought a gem and mineral show would be the best audience but sometimes a craft show where the customer base has never seen a table full of shiny rocks can be even better. I would love to help with your pricing TheRock but I am packing up to head to the cabin for the weekend right now. You may be able to see some of my pricing in the videos and pictures I have posted of my display. I also keep a rotary tumbler running on my table to draw attention and spark conversations. Don't forget to take some stuff to give the kids. Good luck! Chuck

Point taken, Chuck Drummond Island Rocks. I guess I wasn't thinking. Doh! Like everything in life, everyone can't know everything, right? It's probably closer to 99.9999% or more that do not tumble rocks, lol. Even with the knowledgeable people on RTH, if one doesn't tumble, then they don't know the time involved. And I consider RTHlings to be smarter then the average bear. It's always bugged me when someone sees a nicely crafted piece of jewelry, and asks, "Why so much?" My husband and I used to raise and sell snakes. I always hated to do shows. It's not that I dislike people, but the ignorance of the general population (as far as buying and raising healthy snakes) always brought me down. Don't think I would make a good teacher... At least you do not have to worry about someone taking their new rocks home, and letting the die from lack of care, or escaping.

I admire the patience of all our tumbling RTHlings.
My patience wears out after about 24 hours. When we joined the local club, we were encouraged to start tumbling. Bought a small vibrating tumbler and grit.
Could hardly wait till morning to see our shiny rocks. Ha!
Tumbler does a good job polishing jewelry.
So why are newbies encouraged to start with tumbling ? A little instant gratification is a good thing, but won’t be found in tumbling. So yes, I really appreciate our tumblers.

And it doesn't help that the instructions that come with tumblers are so unrealistic! There's no way you will get nicely shaped and shiny rocks in 4 weeks (one week in each of three grits and polish). Sad that they are not honest, and say it may take several months, if not more. If prospective tumblers knew that, they probably would not even start.

Sorry, my brilliant parochial school education sometimes shows through. (The nuns beat it into me.) I am a stickler (call me anal) for proper spelling, correct grammar and punctuation. There are several others like me on this forum, but I won't mention any names. We sometimes compare notes, scratch our heads, and have a good laugh. (All in good fun, you understand.)
You know, Bob TheRock , as long as you can tumble rocks the way you do (perfection!), you may call them whatever you want, spell them any way you want.
Oh, and grilling all that chicken is a good skill to have!
Hope you don't get too wet over the weekend.

I am a stickler (call me anal) for proper spelling, correct grammar and punctuation. Now, why isn't that spelt 'propper'? And why does autocorrect and grammar correction not recognize and correct that 'spelt' doesn't belong there?

Hey I'm having Fun and I appreciate the thoughtful critique on the spelling I really do. Much better to correct it than let someone walk away from my Rock Display saying I'm not gonna buy anything from that Guy! Hells Bells he doesn't even know how to spell. I did spelled most of them correctly and even the word I just missed the boat on a couple. No Biggie and thanks to all that corrected me. I have Big shoulders throw it at me.
