Thanks for the nice day out, looks like you did pretty well. Never seen a place short of a rock show or museum with so much variety.

Another enjoyable trip. I really like the peristerite. I've had a few cabs of it and it does look alot like like moonstone.

Another enjoyable trip. I really like the peristerite. I've had a few cabs of it and it does look alot like like moonstone. I think I got enough peristerite from this spot to play with this winter. The shame is that I was deer hunting last week in an area with small mines known for jewelry grade peristerite, but it snowed heavily on the drive up and stayed at -22 C for the week. Consequently, no rock collecting. Oh well. The rocks aren't going anywhere soon. I will try again next year.
