I am new to this and I understand that I need to “break in” my new diamond wheels but I don’t have a clue about how to go about doing that. I have an 8” diameter , 1 1/2” wide, 60 grit from jade carver. (I wouldn’t recommend anybody buying from him. The wheel was really bad out of balance but I finally balanced it by drilling holes through the plastic on one side and adding a 1/4” bolt to the other side.). And then I have an 8” diameter, 1 1/2” wide 220 grit that I bought from “sawthatrock”. That wheel seems to be ok, so, can anybody tell me how to go about breaking them in?

Work a few hard (and crappy) agates on them for a long time. The 60's gonna chew through it. It will take you a while to break them in. Basically you want to knock down the higher diamonds on the wheels to smooth them out a bit.
ETA: BTW, welcome to RTH!
