I recently visited a small rock/gem/mineral museum at Concordia University in Seward NE and saw some amazing pieces that were mostly donated from a local, private collector. These were some of the most gorgeous Biggs jasper pieces I have ever seen, and the Ripple Jasper was amazing to look at. Has anyone ever seen the Ripple before? Anyway, I wanted to share these pictures and recommend making a trip to the basement of the library building at Concordia if you are ever traveling along I-80 in Nebraska. Well worth the trip.

The smaller slabs look like Blue Biggs. There must be 57 varieties of Biggs and someone named this one.
