Hi! I’m actually posting here as my partner likes to collect rocks. Every now and then she muses on getting a tumbler but it’s never a financial priority. Therefore, I’d like to get her one.
It’s not a serious hobby, but it could be!
What are some entry level tumblers *that are available in the eu* that could start her off, without being complete rubbish if she does seriously get into it? I’ve seen a lot of state side recommendations, but can’t find too much discussion for eu based tumblers.
I have read mixed things about such value kits as the Nat geo hobby kit - are they seriously limited if one becomes a serious hobbyist? The price is right, so it’s tempting..

Welcome from New Jersey. I’m still a noob myself, so I’ll let the experts chime in.

Thanks! I’m UK based but generally shipping within all the Eu countries is reasonable.

Just bumping yesterday’s post back up . . . from the bottom of the heap.
Might still be someone in Britain with actual tumbling experience that’ll see it and offer some helpful advice.

Greetings parfive, yes I am the culprit for that, thankyou for promoting my old web-links. I have not rotary tumbled for about 3 years now, 1.5 years for my 14lb Viking Vibra-sonic, and 8 months since I was last at Leith Lapidary Club and just 3 months since I last used my Hans Lapidary Cabochon Machine at home, Wheel Set-up Left to right Soft 1200, Soft 600, Sintered 80, Sintered 280, Soft 3000, Expando 14000.
