There are times I do not like living in a wind tunnel. I like the almost constant breezes in the Summer.

Did AM chores in a balmy -25 wind chill.
I bailed and drove car to barn, but left it running. It was so cold, horses did not eat their soft hay. Did come to main barn for treats and rubs.
Sierra wanted to play, but I told her I would be out later for play time.
Trying to warm house up now.

Meanwhile, the penguins are lookin’ for a t-shirt shop. 65° F on the Antarctic Peninsula last week and 69° Sunday on Seymour Island off the coast.

65° F on the Antarctic Peninsula last week and 69° Sunday on Seymour Island off the coast. That's insane - and I thought WE were having a warmer-than-normal spell. At least, and unlike in some years, the current Arctic blast in the middle of the country isn't supposed to linger very long.
