This is 25+ pounds of seam agates from "Agate Road" ... similar to "Agate Wrappers", but larger. They're exactly as I found them in nature, except for a light cleaning. These are great for larger jewelry pieces such as belt buckles and bolo ties, or large pieces can be cut into matching smaller pieces for sets. I've always gone way overboard with taping-up my boxes, but the US Postal Service has recently managed to desecrate a couple of my boxes, so I'm now doubling-up on the tape. They won't be easy to open, so please be careful not to hurt yourself if you're using a sharp instrument. The price is only $30 $23, which includes free Priority Mail shipping within the continental US (I pay the $10.35). Make your payment to my PayPal account, groovatism@hotmail.com, THEN PM me to let me know you've made the purchase, so that I can mark the lot as SOLD. For those who prefer not to pay online, I also accept US Postal money orders. If you live outside the continental US and wish to buy, please contact me before paying so that the shipping cost can be calculated. Also bear in mind that international FRBs have a 20 pound weight limitation.

This is 25+ pounds of cool-looking specimens from "Agate Road". They're exactly as I found them in nature, except for a light cleaning. This is a variety of the unusual stuff that I've found out there, which is either druzy, or gnarly, or otherwise very pretty in it's own way, but probably not usable as lapidary material. Each piece was hand selected for this batch. I've always gone way overboard with taping-up my boxes, but the US Postal Service has recently managed to desecrate a couple of my boxes, so I'm now doubling-up on the tape. They won't be easy to open, so please be careful not to hurt yourself if you're using a sharp instrument. The price is only $25 $20, which includes free Priority Mail shipping within the continental US (I pay the $10.35). These are superb, solid chunks for slabbing on a large saw. The biggest piece is purple quartzite from the Johnnie district, one of my favorite pieces. I found some Blue Mule chrysocolla buried in the bottom of a bucket, and included two very nice pieces in this batch. The two Boysenberry quartzite pieces I've included are best-of-the-best, with vivid colors and awesome patterning. The "Agate Road" pieces are also top-notch, with each piece being distinct and drop-dead gorgeous. This is a REAL nice batch! You'll get all of these pieces plus a lot of smaller stuff to fill the box.I've always gone way overboard with taping-up my boxes, but the US Postal Service has recently managed to desecrate a couple of my boxes, so I'm now doubling-up on the tape. This is 25+ pounds of gorgeous purple jasper and quartzite from the legendary Johnnie gold mining district of Nye County, Nevada. These stones have many different shades and textures of this material, so that you have a nice representative variety of what I found out there. This is hard, solid tumbling material, and will also make beautiful cabs. Once these go in the box, I'll add more stones to fill-er-up ... nice stones ... I don't do freebies JUST to fill the box. Although these pics aren't too bad, they don't come anywhere close to doing these stones justice, in the least. MY jaw dropped when I saw this stuff, and I'm not easily impressed. This is 4+ pounds of hand-selected seam agates from "Agate Road" which will each look gorgeous wrapped. They're exactly as I found them in nature, except for a light cleaning. They can be wrapped as-is, or you can clean them further or trim or grind them as you see fit. These look real nice when wire-wrapped, and they'd also be great for using leather mounting techniques! These can make wonderful men's pendants, since they don't look too feminine. The price is only $20 $15, which includes free Priority Mail shipping within the continental US (I pay the $4.95). Make your payment to my PayPal account, groovatism@hotmail.com, THEN PM me to let me know you've made the purchase, so that I can mark the lot as SOLD. For those who prefer not to pay online, I also accept US Postal money orders. Where else can you get well over 50 gorgeous gemstones, jewelry-ready, for only $20 $15If you live outside the continental US and wish to buy, please contact me before paying so that the shipping cost can be calculated.

This is 25+ pounds of sweet tumbling mix. There's 15+ pounds of agate from my "Agate Road" location, 5+ pounds of gorgeous purple jasper and quartzite from the legendary Johnnie gold mining district of Nye County, Nevada, and 5+ pounds of Boysenberry quartzite collected near The Blue Mule. This is all hard, solid tumbling material, and will also make beautiful cabs. Once these go in the box, I'll add more stones to fill-er-up ... nice stones ... I don't do freebies JUST to fill the box. I didn't do a full group pic. I did pics of the agate, then pics of the quartzite, in order to better show all of the stones. Of course, you get them all, plus more. I've always gone way overboard with taping-up my boxes, but the US Postal Service has recently managed to desecrate a couple of my boxes, so I'm now doubling-up on the tape. They won't be easy to open, so please be careful not to hurt yourself if you're using a sharp instrument. Rogue, I don't take your initial post as bad. I believe that you were truly offering advice which would be valid for some people. However, if that were the best thing to do in my situation, I would have done it long ago.
I prefer to not go into detail in public, but there are situations in Pahrump which I cannot walk-away from. I have responsibilities and righting what-I-consider-to-be some past wrongs to attend-to. Regardless of personal hardships which I must overcome, I cannot walk-away from here. That would be SO wrong in SO many ways.
I did not post my situation asking for people here to come running to my rescue. It was simply a quick update for those who care. Advice is always welcome, though, and I thank everyone who is willing to take their time to offer it.
Another quick update ... I finally got my truck shifter fixed yesterday, so I'm able to use all of the gears now instead of just 2nd gear. It needs a lot more work, desperately, but at least it's a good step in the right direction.
(((HUGS TO ALL)))

I didn't have enough money to go hounding last Saturday, BUT while walking to the mini-mart on Tuesday, something shiny on the ground caught my eye. It was a broken gold bracelet! The pawn shop gave me $30 for it, and I hit Agate Road yesterday! Although I didn't get nearly as much as I wanted out there, because my companion was too hot, I managed to get 200+ pounds of very nice agate. We dropped it off at my apartment, so now I need to get over there to sort, clean, weigh, and put together some batches for sale. Tom will get the best of the haul, as promised.
FYI ... my current situation is that my roommate lost his job, didn't pay utilities with the money I gave him, and the electricity has been shut-off since 6-29. I worked-off my June and July rent with my landlord, and my roommate has moved-out, leaving me holding the bag for the apartment. Luckily, my landlord isn't holding me liable for the other half of June and July rent. I now have to come-up with deposits for the utilities ($210 just for the electricity alone!), and I don't think my landlord can afford to let me work-off August rent (maybe half, but he doesn't know yet). I need to find a new roommate ASAP, but that's not going to happen with the utilities not on LOL. I went to welfare to see if they could help with any of this, but to no avail. So, at this point I don't know if I'll be able to keep/save this apartment situation or not, barring divine intervention. One step forward, two steps back, just when I thought things were looking up.
Anywho ... as always, I haven't lost faith or determination, and I know things will work-out one way or another. Please keep me in your prayers.
