I believe this it what they call little Victoria out of Russia... I saw it two years ago at a local show... They are working to create something just like victoria stone. It cabs beautifully... Deb

Thanks so much for your reply... It is C of S and it weighs about 3 lbs... When I slab, I use a large slab saw with a 24 inch? blade... It's one of the slab saws at my club... I'll post a pic as soon as I get one. Maybe you can give me some pointers on slabbing it... Thanks again, Deb

I had one I had been working on and when I went to the 14,000, it broke in two... Very sad, because I was getting excited...

I use canvas on mine and it works great... Use one for the 14,000 and a different one for 50,000 and I always use extender... Good luck... Deb

Hi Everyone, hope you're all having a good week... Yea, tomorrow is Friday.... Here's a rock we're very clueless about and hope you all can help... It is very fibrous and is dark gray and golden brown. Definitely chatoyant. We were hoping for pietersite, but now we are wondering if maybe it is a hawks eye of some type. Any guesses? It is definitely gray and not blue. (And if you see green, it is just bad lighting.)" Thanks for any help you can give....
