Here's this years changes to my drag saw When you are cutting a small rock like this one, you will only weaar the diamond segments that are doing the cutting. The ones that are on either end that are not cutting will not wear down and it you go to cut a larger piece of rock you may have problems. I make sure all segments are cutting. Also wish you luck with using water. I found that it did not work worth a darn and now use diesel. Maybe a water soluble oil will work. I a have heard that it does work but never have tried it. looking good!

Got the first cut made on the Saddle Mountain piece. Some people call it Bog and some Forest floor. I don't care which is correct, I just call it Saddle Mountain Wood. It is fractured a bit, think I will glue a piece of plywood to the face to help hold it together while cutting. may cut it a a bit thick to help it stay together.

woodman . Better snatch that beautiful plum before the squirrels find it. They got all our fruit. I was more worried about deer, but you are right about the squirrels. I had them stealing apples before! It is not quite ripe!

I guess it's too big to ship ,huh woodman ? You could thin it down and send a couple of slabs to me, I'll help ya out. Patty Anything is shippable, but I can not pick it up!! I got to move it around a bit and figure out how to cut it. It might make some real nice bookends.

I got my 24 inch rotary polisher from him also. I've wanted a tom machine for the last year, even tried again today and nothing. I can get the 2 24" rociprolaps for 2000, plus shipping. Probably put me at 2700 for it all. They come with speed controllers as well. I tried calling him just now and just got a recording to leave a message.
