Looks just like the piece I found in Tennessee! Where is it from? It came from woodman so Im pretty sure Oregon. I got some stuff from Washington. Don't remember what I sent. It may be stinking water but can't tell from the pictures. looking good tho.

You can see it better here I would flood that crack with super thin super glue. It will wick in and stabilize that crack.

With the dop stick off Real nice for sure, what are your plans for it? Might be a good candidate for a wire wrap!

Nice! Is that first one off the Moss bed maybe.. Liking the waterlines on #2 also... A straight plain too... These are from a bucket full that I purchased at the shop and t he bins were mixed up. I got some from moss bin that were moss but got others from other binss that were also moss. I would think more likely pony butte bed as the shape is more rounded than what I have dug from the moss bed. I am trying to get everything I have cut so that I have a reason to go back and dig more once the weather warms up!.

I'm always reluctant to cut up things like this because my perception is often "the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts (or cut up pieces) That probably why it is still in one piece! Now wood, that is a different story!

A richardson high speed sander was made to sand thundereggs. Is a Richardson sander the same thing as a bull wheel? If not, does anyone have a pic of one? No, not even close to the same. do a google search, it is much cheaper than a bull wheel.

It is 25 degrees with snow on the ground and I had to take out the stove pipe for my shop stove yesterday and need to get it put in today, may just stay in nice arm house and say the heck with it, at least for now. Need to get on shop roof but with 4 inches of snow and ice I think this old man will stay on the ground. It is a bit depressing sometimes.

Woodman, are you going to slab and cab any of them? I usually do it with my broken eggs... Would rather do that than throw them in the bone pile... I took a slab off of the last moss egg, most i just polish. do want to get back to making a few cabs and some of these would work great.
