Thanks I thought the fuzz was kinda special.It seems most of the agates from this dig all have the white around the lines.

Don,I bought it on line from Apex Engineering Products Corp.Cheaper and it's a biodegradable descaler.I had it sent to my work adress.

I use RYDLYME to clean lime deposits.What do you think. oh yea the other have been cleaned also and I just found these last friday. Roger

I use fingers 99% if not I use copper tube and a plumbers flare tool then super glue and a soak in water till they come off.

Most of the faces were cover in line deposits,calcite and ??.Those are called Teepee Canyon Agates from the Blacks Hills of south Dakota.The black is from a fire in 2000 called the jasper fire.
