Hello This is a big thank you to Scott, Jeannie, and both fernwoods. Do to problems beyond my control I was unable to go to flint ridge. Only 2 hours away I still could not go. Out of the goodness of there hearts I received a box of flint ridge flint. Put together by Scott, Jeannie, and the fernwoods. God love them all. A pic of the flint I received. They will make beautiful tumbles. They all deserve a big applause. So everyone put there hands together For these RTH'ers that helped out a friend. Thank you

I got this in a collection, it had no label of where it was found. The hardness is difficult because of the matrix. The blue is like chalk. A black light does nothing. Attached are pics. Hope they help. I have one guess but not a lot of options right. Can't do SG

Fossils from a collection that was given to me. I have no idea what they are. A guess at best. Most of that is pet. Wood and some kind of tooth.

I found this digging in my backyard. Some people say it looks like a fish but I don't see a fish.

In the book, "The Complete Guide to rocks and minerals" on page 43 is a pic that looks close to this rock. It would be nice but I sure it's not. The Plc I took the reddish portion of the Rock is brighter.

I bought a lotto and with it I got some 2mm ceramic balls. They didn't work for me and after talking with other lotto users, they didn't like them either. They didn't work good in any stage. I would say don't waste your money or time on trying them. Cylinders are the way to go. Just a FYI.

This is a pic of a moth that was attached to the window screen. It looked like a clump of leaves. I have lived in Ohio my whole life and have never seen one. I looked up the name, so now it's your turn to guess the type?

This maybe nothing good but it came in a batch of rocks. It looks a little bit like a flower if you can't see it.
