I started flint Knapping several years ago, but stopped. Now, I would like to get back into it at the beginner stage. Does anyone on here do This for a hobby?
Is there a Thread or post on here that deals with Flint Knapping?
thanks Steve

I would love to find a spot where dinosaur fossils are found. I know of one spot in ladonia, texas that I am going to, on my next trip to florida.
Does anyone in Utah know of any dino dig spots?

Hi everyone,
I'm steve...I was interested in any information anyone has on fossil hunting in Arizona. I have been all over my area of northwestern Arizona with no luck on fossils...although there is an abundance of other rocks, gems and minerals in this area.
thanks
Steve

Vegas James, Do you have a quad? I know of some good spots between Dolan Springs and Henderson....on the Arizona side of the river. Temple Bar Rd. off of hwy 93 N. about 2 to 3 miles down temple bar rd. on the left side there is an old pristine wagon trail.... on the right side you can find 2 dirt roads to the wash.... one road follows the power lines...that one is ok. but there is another rd. farther down temple bar rd. to the right...with a pull off area....very sandy..be careful where you park.there may be some pet wood in the wash...but if you follow the rd. about 1/4 to 3/4 miles and look on the ground youll find very nice specimens on pet wood. there are other spots farther back in about 3 to 5 miles where you can find pet wood tumbled to river rock, lots of agate and jasper as well. I have found artifacts, flint knapped tools, grinding stones and other things between temple bar. Rd. and Dolan Springs, both in the White Hills, and on the other side in the Black Mountains. but you deffinately need a 4 x 4 or quad to get back in the deep parts of the hills and mountains. talk to you soon Steve
