Well I didn't think you were going over to the tumbled wrap style !!, but the one off arrowhead was nice, the weaving on the back made it so. I bet your Mom will like it. Patty She did like it...and she was super surprised about it - which made me really happy! She was going out to lunch with "the girls" and she said she'd be wearing it today! LOL

I received the package today from jasoninsd and it certainly did not disappoint. The wire wrap that he created is absolutely beautiful. I'm just in awe of the workmanship. Scrolls and bindings are perfect. I don't think there's a tool mark on this piece. Thank you so much for this wonderful piece of art! So without further adieu, here's the front.
And here's the back side
I'll post the cabs I received real soon. I just wanted to get this out right away. Thanks again, Jason!

Wow jasoninsd thats a real beauty!! Gary was blessed to be behind you! I really like the design, and it seems it will work well with your classic teardrops too!

Wow! Nice job, Jason. When I look at this I not only see the precision of the swirls and the bindings, but I also see all the places something could have easily "gone wrong" and didn't! The spacing of the wires is near-perfect, and great for the stone.

Thanks Gary! We'll start a "go fund me" page for some reading glasses for you! LOL - Just teasing. I do see a couple tool marks which I didn't catch until I zoomed in on the picture I took...which was after it was packaged up and ready to go! LOL - There's one other thing I wish I would have done differently and I didn't catch it until I did another one similar to this one. The bail wires that get tucked under the top of the bail...you can see the end of the wire. If I would have swooped that front wire just a hair higher, it would have covered up that end-wire. It was definitely a fun one to do and I'll be using this style on some of the teardrop shaped cabs (God knows I have a few! LOL) with the teardrop inverted. I'm glad you're okay with it! Wow jasoninsd thats a real beauty!! Gary was blessed to be behind you! I really like the design, and it seems it will work well with your classic teardrops too! Thanks Ashley! You're exactly right about the teardrops! I'll have to be careful not to make the "gap" above the cab too large, as that would make the pendants longer than I'd prefer. Wow! Nice job, Jason. When I look at this I not only see the precision of the swirls and the bindings, but I also see all the places something could have easily "gone wrong" and didn't! The spacing of the wires is near-perfect, and great for the stone. Thanks Susan! I think this one turned out better than the one I did last night! (Thank goodness! LOL) - It's fun to start learning or working with a new style like this...it just opens the door to so many more options!

What an elegant and beatiful design! A treble clef on the right side! Thanks PS! I wish I could take credit for the design, but it was off a tutorial on YouTube...and I DO see the treble clef now that you mention it! Of course, since I did it, it's more like a TROUBLE clef! LOL

Jason, opening the door to other options is a delightful thing to hear from you!

I see the musically score too.
I think the design being tall is nice - the open space adds a lot, with the very end of the swirl holding the top of the stone.
One thing I really like is that only one of the top wires is twisted. That's tricky to twist only one (and not screw up your nicely wrapped bail at the same time).
I look forward to seeing more of your interpretations of it , very inspiring.
Patty

Beautiful, jasoninsd!! I love that you love the curliques and such, but you don't go ugly crazy with them. I've seen this vid on my yt feed. I'd say you got it down.

Thanks Patty! I usually like having a twisted wire as one of the "base" wires as it goes around the cab. To me, it just adds another nice little decorative touch. However, it does look kind of nice when it's only twisted at the top. Beautiful, jasoninsd !! I love that you love the curliques and such, but you don't go ugly crazy with them. I've seen this vid on my yt feed. I'd say you got it down. Thanks Tela! I don't care for the "overboard" twist upon twist with the wires. I think I may have just about worn out my pause button as there was no way I could keep up with her...yet! LOL

I saw this last night about 10:30. I had just gotten done working, so I was too tired to actually comment. Had to get up early again today to go on a listing appointment, which lasted waaaay too long and I just finally got to sit down and relax a little after having dinner. I love this wrap, Jason. As you know, I'm not a fan of swirls, but on this pendant they work and they're not too big. Excellent job, my friend!

A little frilly...but not too much. What'd Vince make for dinner??

I got the wrap done and I'm ready to send the package to hummingbirdstones. I just need an address. I didn't do very well getting my task done this time. I realized everything is packed up and no cab pics. I kept the bottom left and top right cabs from this pic + the Owhee jasper. I replaced with rainbow pet wood, Ohio flint and an unknown. I tried to update the ID's on some of the cabs. I think it's a good idea to put it on a paper in the little bag. Some that are written on the outside have disappeared.

Boy, I've messed this thread up! The pic isn't showing in the quote. I guess you'll have to go to the first page to see the stones.

Sorry for the delay, Rockbrain--but it looks like Hummingbirdstones has it covered. I had to go out of town today and just got back a few hours ago--just now checking the board. Also, thanks for your work updating the names of the cabs--I'm probably the guilty one writing on the outside.

I do the same paper trick with all my material. slabs and cabs...and I should have taken the time to do it for these...so thanks for picking up my slack!
