Very nice ashley, great shine! I love the Apache tears. I believe the green stone is epidote mixed with something else. Thanks for sharing.

jasoninsdThanks Jason! You and Chad’s fingerprints are all ground off of the jasper by now lol! Randy runs a killer deal on his apache tears if you wanted to give your tumbler some attention lol.

Sweet! Evidence wiped clean! LOL I've got a bunch of milk crates full of self-collected Prairie Agates...which when I get my tumbler up and going again, will definitely take precedence. And since they take FOREVER to tumble...I likely have no need to add to the "tumbling" pile! LOL

Nothing like a jar full of shiny apache tears. Well done Ashley. This may not mean much to some collectors but it was a cool experience for me(dumb easterner) - the rock book in Arizona said to head toward a particular ancient volcano shaft pointing high in the air(you could see it on the horizon many miles away). To collect the tears you just walk around that volcano shaft and collect. They were sitting on the ground in like a 4 mile radius of it where they were launched into the sky and cooled many moons ago and simply landed on the ground.
