It's been months since I've wrapped and I messed up and ordered dead soft wire instead of half-hard, but here's what I came up with. I need to get back at it! Thanks for looking!

Beautiful, miket! You haven't lost your touch. Dead soft turns into half-hard (or even hard) just by working it.

I like the square wire on that wrap.
I haven't done a lot of wraps with square wire - I think I need to break some out.
Now I don't know squat about wire wrapping, but I've been using dead soft copper, and slightly hardening it before use. But maybe that's what you & everyone else already does ? And maybe with silver everything changes ?
Anyway, nice clean wrap

I like the asymmetric lock wire on the sides. You haven't lost it! It's like riding a bike.

Thank you, Patty! I only use square- I like it better, even though others get fantastic results with round. I didn't really harden the wire, maybe I should have? I like the asymmetric lock wire on the sides. You haven't lost it! It's like riding a bike. Thanks Tela. My wife says I'm simple, so my wraps might as well be! 😁 I;s slap that on in heartbeat really nice Mike Thank you Ed!

Great to see you're back at it my friend! Tumbling your wraps in steel shot after they're done also hardens the wire...

Just giving it a few passes through a polishing cloth hardens it from soft to half-hard. You then harden it further by bending and shaping it. Copper is a different beast.
