Your finds are fantastics! That piece of your favorite is truly beautiful. If only I knew at the time what I was finding. I literally just started to get interested in the thought of tumbling while I was on the trip that I found the red jasper material. I didn't even know what it was.....I just thought it looked cool. Now I can wait to get back out there to get a bucket of it.

Now I can wait to get back out there to get a bucket of it. And you did a great work in tumbling and polishing. Most of my self collects (from the beaches) are deep fractured and I haven't moved them on to the 2nd step yet, if they did not already become too small during the 1st step.

Sounds and looks like Berryessa! There's some beautiful gemmy jasper there. I am told was Berryessa. It does sound like there is a lot of it there but I only found the few pieces where we were. The water level was way low when I was there so I don't know how much that plays into accessing the material.

That Lake Michigan agate is awesome and not red or yellow like an LSA... didn't know there were Lake Michigan agates...
