Still wrapping. I may not today- depends on my shoulder. I couldn't use the light tent so I used the copystand.
Big cab with a weird cut. I tried to visually fix the line at the bottom.
This is so much nicer in person. The left side is definitely blue, but washed out in the picture. I see a few things that I need to fix. Yes, it is firmly in place.
A little piece of opalized wood from Jean rockpickerforever. She sent me a bunch- this was just a piece that broke off. I love opalized wood!
Thanks for looking!

Oh yeah!! Of course I saw Teepee Canyon and started getting goose-bumps! LOL - I really love what you did with regards to counterbalancing the wrap with that shape on the Teepee! You've got me floored (and intrigued) on the Original Owyhee wrap! So freakin' creative!! One of the things I admire about your wraps is your ability to secure the stone without it seeming like it is! That Petrified Wood wrap is a great example of this!! Fantastic job on all of them!!

Thanks Jason! I thought of you and miket when I was working on the Tee Pee.
The Owhyee wrap is deceptively simple. I've done it so many times now, I think I could do it drunk.
The petrified wood is a good example of the wire emulating a bezel wire in a smithed setting. It works because it's tight. The back wires are pushing the stone into an area with a smaller diameter than it is.

Perfect wraps, Tela! I like how yours are so much more elegant than mine, simply beautiful. And of course I like the Teepee! 😁

More eye candy Tela - you're being pretty productive lately (good on ya).
That second one (Gem Owyhee) is another - "How did she do that one & make it work?"
But then you do that a lot .
You do know how to keep us all wondering ( at least me anyway) & that's a good thing,
it keeps pushing me to try harder to figure this stuff out.
Thank you.
Keep at it & hope your shoulder feels better
Patty

Boy, when you get over your "dry" period, you do it with style! As usual, each one lovely, each unique.

Thanks! I'm glad they keep you thinking. Nothing better than a puzzle. I think I may redo that one. It didn't come out quite like I wanted it. I have to fix a few things anyway. Mayeb I postd it too soon. Boy, when you get over your "dry" period, you do it with style! As usual, each one lovely, each unique. Thanks, Susan. Yeah, I wish I could summon the muse at will, but it just doesn't always work like that. Boo. Love love love that owyhee!! Thanks, me too. It's a pretty nice one.
