Awesome! I think you'll love it. I used mine the first time to polish cabs and saw the difference after a couple hours.

After almost 24 hours I have a few observations. It is astonishingly quiet (like cannot hear it running at all- of course it is next to rotaries). At full speed the rocks move way too quick. I'm running at about 3/4 and get a great motion. It is very sensitive to water amounts, and I have too much in it (water). I left the lid off for a couple hours and now it is forming a mud instead of seeing very wet rock flying around with grit suspended in the liquid. There is very little heat generated. I'm really liking what I see so far.

I haven't had much issue with water amounts but I actually followed the instructions and it worked well. Washed the rocks off in a strainer and just added the wet rocks and polish. Only added tiny amounts of water after that. It seemed like I could add a lot without negatively affecting it. Of course, I was adding water 1/2 of bottlecap at a time so "a lot of water" was only a few teaspoons. Glad it's working out for you so far!
