Wow! What great cabs to be able to wrap. As usual, they are all excellent, but I have to say that double Chrysoprase wrap kicks A$$! Gorgeous.

Holy mackerel! That's a lot of wraps! Hard to pick a fav because - you know me- I like simple. But, the first one to me is really nice and clean. Your bindings came out great!!
Those chrysoprase are to die for! And, what a surprise that you put the bigger stone on top. I didn't expect that. You did a good job with the join- not too big or busy. Looks nice.
I don't even want to know what you got in trade. I'll be insanely jealous because I know victor1941 has some AWESOME material!

I tried the combination every way possible...but finally decided I liked the odd "bubble exclamation point" this created.

Nice! I assume Victor is smiling and waiting for that tracking number. I prefer the small stone on the bottom on the chrysoprase. It kinda reminds me of a pendulum, and a very nice one at that.

Thanks Susan! I had thought about doing that secondary stone as a "swinging" attachment to the top stone...but the more I thought about keeping it rigid, the more I liked the idea. I'm glad I kept it from swingin'!

Excellent wraps, as usual. I like the tigers eye. That is a tough shape and you nailed it.

A really nice batch Jason.
I like the simpler wraps !
I give a second vote for the first one, but the blue rounder one ( turq ??) is my fav.
Thanks for the wrapping show. Patty

Thanks Patty! It's a good thing I had recently ordered 22 gauge wire for those small ones! Up to that point, all my wraps were done with 20 gauge.

Jaaon, those are fantastic wraps! You kept it simple which to me allowed both the stone and the wire work to shine as a single unit. Excellent work.

Trigger only learned a couple new four-letter words while doing these...I thought that was pretty good! LOL

Yep - those designs made some impressive pendants. It's nice when the eye isn't drawn to specific elements instead of the piece as a whole.
I have to ask about the fifth one down. The big green oval. Would sure like to know where it's from.

Thanks Vince! I almost did some swirly crap on the front of a couple of them...but I managed to restrain and refrain! LOL Yep - those designs made some impressive pendants. It's nice when the eye isn't drawn to specific elements instead of the piece as a whole.

victor1941 any idea on that cab? Thanks! You beat me to tagging him! LOL I'm actually curious about #1 and #7...they both look to be the same material...

#5 is thought to be clear creek jade from Calif. Several RTH members did the identification several years ago. I bought several slabs that had nice patterns at a show in San Antonio in the 70/80's. I have several cabs from that material and all took an excellent polish in the UV-18 vibe.

# 1 and 7 are from a Nevada mine that was owned by the Hartman's in Durango, Co. I think each is cut from it's own nugget but I would not bet on it. This material was originally sold as Tortoise turquoise but has since been labeled chalcosiderite or variquoise. The material had a chalky exterior, was small and easy to work and turned out to be fairly hard inside with some pretty designs.

You just confirmed it for us.

They look great! My favorites are the 1st and the last. Thanks PS! That first one is the smallest one I've wrapped...or darn close! I think my eyes and brain were hurting a little after that one! LOL
