Some of my best work was with OJ. It just inspires me.
My precious
Very early dog OJ
Only a mother, I mean me, could love this.

I'm not sure my heart can take all these at once!! You weren't wrong when you said it "inspires" you...every single one of these is SO artistically done. Very inspiring my friend!! None of them jump out ahead of any of the others...they're all at the pinnacle of perfection. I will saw that green "live edge" piece really caught my eye...just the way you were able to follow the contour...very impressive.

Love all of them, especially the free-form pieces! It's amazing that your wrappings still added (a lot) to the absolute beauty of the stones.

OJ candy feast!
I have to say that the "prongs" you did on #4 are flippin' ingenious!

Wow! There is some spectacular stuff in there. All of them are special but there are four of them after My Precious that are just wow! I like how you grabbed the edge of the cab in #9 with the prongs. I like the last one too. It does make me think of an insect head when I see it though. Like a praying manitis.

But, I'll take a complement. Wow! There is some spectacular stuff in there. All of them are special but there are four of them after My Precious that are just wow! I'm glad you like the last one... you may be the only other person besides myself. There's just something about it. LOL!

I don't know how I missed all these OJ threads this week - what a show this morning ! Beautiful wraps Tela - very inspiring.
The 2 live edge ones stood out for me, & I love how a number of them have circles in the wire to mimic the pattern.
Very nicely done.
The lovely earrings have some kind of wire I don't recognize - looks glittery ?
Thanks for the show,
Patty

I'm glad you liked it. I don't think Rio sells that wire anymore, but it looks like it is coated with pixie dust- very sparkly.

No, it's not that. That looks like it is bevel cut. Mine is more rough.

You know... on second thought, maybe it is. Rio has changed so much on their site. I don't remember it being 1/4 hard or being sold by numbers versus gauge.

I didn't think it was, but thought I'd check. I once saw a pendant with an opal set in it in a jewelry store on Jewelers' Row, Downtown Chicago many years ago. I used to window shop those jewelry stores during my lunch. This one had one of the most beautiful large white opals in it that I ever saw. This was before cell phones, so I never got a picture of it. It had blue, yellow, pink and green in it and it was set in a huge basket setting with gold wire, the type of which you are describing. Set in the basket setting around the opal were long emerald cut paraiba and sea foam green colored tourmalines that matched the colors in the opal to perfection, with a few round diamonds scattered around. I would stare at that pendant trying to figure out how that gold "sugared" wire was made. One day it wasn't in the window anymore so I went in the store to ask about it. The owner told me it finally sold, so I asked him about the wire on it. He said he didn't know how it was made and that he had bought it at an estate sale years before. I still wonder about that wire to this day.

That wire is faceted to make it look sparkly. I've never used any of it, so who knows? And you're right about Rio's site. I do not care for the new web format.

I really love them all. The stones and the wrapping, both are very inspiring. I’m curious about the 12th wrap. It’s pale purple with black rocks as support. I see small seed beads around the perimeter but then also a black shaped piece around the cab. What is that?
