I got some new wire that I've been real anxious to try. But, I also had a new design in mind. I was smart and worked a cheaper stone in some copper.  Well, I'm glad I did! I butchered my attempt! I had to scrap it all. But, I do plan on wrapping this stone. It's a big ruby cabochon with schiller and great color.  |

I have been meaning to post my 2nd ever wrap for several weeks but just haven’t had time. I thought I was choosing an easier tutorial than my first. Nope. I struggled so much I distinctly remember almost scrapping it and giving up 3 separate times. But I kept going and finished. I realized when I was done that maybe the reason it was harder is because it was made from round wire instead of square? Also as time has gone by I like it now more and more. I think even though it looks simple and has a number of flaws I appreciate my own struggle with it. Looking forward to seeing your new wire and final wrap.

Ummm...I'm with Susan. It's not that I wish anyone ill...I really don't...but it is nice to hear I'm not the only one who struggles!
*But like you said...your struggles are a LOT less often than some of us! LOL
