I almost posted this in the actual challenge thread...but realized THIS was the appropriate thread! LOL

Numerous times I've looked at that list susand24224 posted of ALL the "holidays" in the month. Now hear me out. LOL - I thought it would be kind of neat...since this isn't a competition of any sort...for the challenge to be each participant chooses their own "theme" from the list of supposed holidays within the month. This would eliminate the need for anyone choosing a theme for the next month...and it would also broaden people's choices with which to get their creative juices flowing...so to speak.

I like the idea, in large part because I can't cab right now since what should be water flow is ice. I am saying this with absolutely no idea of what Tela's idea is, but I want to pick a cab that is reminiscent of the theme, and continue the theme with the wrap, rather than picking a cab that hopefully I like and "forcing" it into an idea because of the theme. @rockjunkuie, I know you are a master and preacher of the "gestalt" method, so I suspect that your idea would allow for creativity AND appropriate wrap for the cab, but the thought has been lingering in the back of my mind. (And I'm wondering where my sharks' teeth are for National Dentists' Day.)

UPDATE: I just looked at the theme, and I can do this, with heavy reliance on an Irish friend and a folk-dancing friend. I still like jasoninsd's idea, though, maybe in a later month?

Jason, I think that's a fine idea.

I just wonder if it's not really challenging to do what you WANT to do. The idea is to challenge yourself. But, that's just my immediate thought. I think there's plenty of room to include that. Or, whatever- I'm open. If we get enough ideas, maybe I'll post a poll.

I was thinking that something you found yourself might be special enough to really put something of yourself into a design to reflect something of yourself. Subconsciously or not. I was thinking of Rockhound day, too.

First, I want to say I wasn't intending it to seem like I was "poo-pooing" your idea for this month. I really do like that idea...mainly because I already have cabs that fit the bill! LOL

For me personally...anything I were to choose off that monthly list would "challenge" me. By that I mean, I don't normally try to come up with creative ideas...like someone else we know! LOL - Again...just speaking for me...I'm more likely to "want" to participate and do something if the parameters were more broad as opposed to a very specific type of theme such as specifically an "Easter" themed wrap...
