I finally did something with the doublet I made for one of the contests.
I decided that a woven wrap was the best solution,
as I didn't want to hide any of the scene, and this border in particular (which I found a tute on) seems to accent the edge nicely (IMHO).

Beautiful! I like how your bezel's "tree" weaving suggests the tree patterns in your cab. The back is beautiful, too — I can see a a future owner deciding to occasionally wear it that way.

I tried something different on the back- reversible is a possibility I hadn't considered - thank you.

Funny, this one went a little easier ? !
I do like the weaving - but it does take awhile.
I think I'm still trying to figure out the backs- this one came together nicely in the end.

Some times you get it & sometimes not.
