Heh - I'm lucky - my wife is hummingbirdstones , and she "needs" more equipment than I do.
But she makes jewelry, and I don't. That must be it, right?
Seriously, we have a lot of "stuff" we might be able to do without, but it would be more difficult to do (or impossible to do well) some things without them.
She is always right! I would say *most* of the time.

Selling things that I don’t need or use is a big part of my new resolution. We have a two car garage that we can only get one care in mainly because of my stuff. Focus on my top interest and get rid of the rest is my new mantra. Wow. you can get a car in your garage? LOL I'm impressed.

Don't get me going about jewelry tools!! I make jewelry also and probably have thirty files I've never used. I can't pass up a nice file at a flea market. I also have four "B" tanks with regulators and torches, just can't pass them up for 10-15 bucks, especially when they are nearly full and it costs forty to fill one. I make fishing rods too, a whole other bunch of tools and supplies!

I am hoping to build this new resolution on a foundation of good rocks instead of one on sand. On this journey I think the advise of SELL things I don’t need will be very important.

I'm going to start using that!! "These piles of rocks?? Oh...I'm just stockpiling them as foundation material for the addition on the house!"

Ok….welll….being what is sometimes referred to as a gearhead (vintage cars) coupled with lapidary / jewelry arts theres always tools and equipment needed, wanted or have. Usually its hmmmm i think i need that or want that. Recently acquired an Ameritool 8” flat lap, still have a Crystalite 6” lap. Was it necessary? Ummmm, dunno, thought so at the time. I’ll justify later 😊. Rocks ? is there ever enough? Building materials, deck, garage, shop, yard , landscaping and household art. I’m fortunate as The Captn loves rocks also, pretty ones and even ones that catch her eye.
