These are the Regency Rose Plume Agate Doublet Pendants I wrapped up yesterday. I was up until 1am wrapping them...then woke up at 3am...no idea why...so finished the patina and tumbled them this morning. All in a day's work! LOL

Holy COW!!! That's a lot of fine wraps. I wasn't sure which was my favorite until I reached the last one. I like that a lot!

I had NO clue what I was going to do with the wires...so I just winged it...like most of them! LOL I like the holographic backing for some reason. Awesome work again Thanks Chad! I do too!! It really is eye-catching when the light plays with the backing!!

Last one is my favorite, too! I really like how the second one kind of glows like the sun with Saturn's rings spinning around the top there.

Outstanding!. What does the holographic backing mean or involve? The pic (second one) got me to wondering if you could get a light and battery small enough to mount behind a translucent or transparent stone so it would shine at night? Anyone ever tried that? I am thinking it would make a great Christmas tree ornament.

That's exactly what I was going for on that one! Great work matching...what did you tumble? Thank you so much! All the wraps were actually tumbled. Tumbling them with steel shot actually hardens the wire and "smooths" the wire a bit... WOW! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Thanks Heather! It gave me something to do in the middle of the night! LOL Outstanding!. What does the holographic backing mean or involve? The pic (second one) got me to wondering if you could get a light and battery small enough to mount behind a translucent or transparent stone so it would shine at night? Anyone ever tried that? I am thinking it would make a great Christmas tree ornament. Thanks Chris! The holographic backing is a thin piece of holographic vinyl I found at Walmart! LOL - It's epoxied to the backing material...then epoxied to the agate. There's been lots of "night lights" posted here on the forum where people glue thin slabs to a plug-in light. I think I remember seeing one with a battery powered light...but I can't remember for sure.

Very nice Jason jasoninsd , ille the free flowing style of your wraps but still showing the beauty of the stones.

Those are all outstanding. Thanks Diane! I worked a couple more yesterday...gonna see about giving a few more a shot at some point today. Very nice Jason jasoninsd , ille the free flowing style of your wraps but still showing the beauty of the stones. Thanks Bill! I'm pretty sure the "free flowing style" comes from having NO clue (for the most part) what's going to happen when I start! LOL

Very pretty! Amazing wraps and gorgeous stones. The second one is glowing - is that as a result of the doublet (If I recall that's putting a backing on the stone to show through?).

They're all doublets actually. The first and second pic are the same piece...but on that stone, I used a holographic vinyl between the agate and the backing material. In this case it was Goldstone on that cab...but usually I use Basanite as the backing which is black...and you can see the black backing through the clear areas of the agate on the rest of them. That holographic vinyl REALLY catches the light depending on the angle of the light hitting it.

All so pretty as usual

I don't think I have seen you do the bail wrap like you did on #4 before. Looks nice!

I have had a tendency to do most of my wraps with a weaved bail...but doing them with the rabbit ears or the...whatever it's called with the half round spun around two of the wires...is a lot less time consuming!
