Almost looks like Bertrandite or Tiffany Stone. Looking that up just now I see people also calling that an opal. 🤔

Almost looks like Bertrandite or Tiffany Stone. Looking that up just now I see people also calling that an opal. 🤔 Bertrandite and Tiffany stone are different things even though the name gets used interchangeably and neither are opal.
Bertrandite is a beryllium ore found in locations all over the world.
Tiffany stone is a conglomeration of up to 16 different minerals predominated by fluorite, and so is not a specific mineral. It is just a common name for this type of conglomeration. This conglomeration again is predominated by fluorite, but can also contain quartz, chalcedony, manganese, calcite, opal, etc. Bertrandite can also be found in some pieces, but rarely as the mineral is only found in the ore in concentrations of 0.04-0.07% and this is not even found in the majority of the ore.
Contrary to popular belief and sales propaganda to keep the price propped up, it does not only come from the Brush-Wellman Mine in Utah. Tiffany stone has been found in 4 locations in Utah and there are 2 locations in Nevada. The Brush -Wellman Mine though is the only active mine digging the ore.
The purple opal from Mexico is known as Morado opal.
