One of the rear springs on my Lot-O broke several weeks ago. I couldn't figure out why I was suddenly having very reduced movement of my rocks and struggled through finishing a batch. I did get them finished and thought it must have just been the material. In the coarse stage, they made my slurry so thick I couldn't even pour it so chalked it up to that. But then I went to start the next batch of something and noticed the broken spring. I've been signed up for email notifications from Kingsley North and Rock Shed for several weeks. Does anyone know somewhere else that might have them in stock?

Supply chain issues. Fasco motors (used on my Thumlers rotaries) just came into stock at the Rock Shed. I have been waiting for one for 2 years! The days of instant parts supply are behind us. Small companies (tumbler manufacturers) are very small fish in a very big ocean, with very little food available. I work for a smallish areospace company and our legacy products demand some very old school electric components, that are near extinct. We have lead times of up to 2.5 years on some stuff. Let's not even start talking about price increases of 80% in some cases.

Try Minnesota lapidary supply They did not have any in stock the first time I tried, but just called again and they do. They suggested replacing all 6 springs at once and not just the one that is broken, so I went ahead and ordered two sets so I'd have a spare.
