Date: February 22. 2023 Weather: Sunny with clouds, 50°F Destination: Rißbach (GER), Fischbach Hey! Guess I'm back. After this trip I got very sick and after weeks of trying to fight, I took some antibiotics which helped... but drained all energy from me.
Took a long time to recover and adjust.
Still feeling really exhausted basically all the time, but there is beautiful nature out there to be discovered... so I gotta go. I went on a few trips in the meantime an now I finally found the energy and time to go through my pictures... time to post. Enjoy and ... read you soon!

Welcome back to the land of the living Gabriel !
Glad to see you & that you're feeling better.
I can't imagine YOU not having the energy to get out for a hike. It's likely the only thing that will cure you .
Beautiful scenery- thanks for sharing.
Even a perfect sunset at the end of the day, and a couple of cool looking rocks.
Funny to me, to see the snow & ice,
as here in FL we just turned on the AC yesterday !
What do you think shattered that rock- the water & cold ?
Be well
Patty

Patty Thanks! Getting there.
And yea... you are kinda right. It's my remedy for body and mind.
It was an amazing day.
Should probably not have walked long stretches through ice cold water bare-feet to cross some streams while already dealing with a light cough for a couple of days though...
Yea... we had some beautiful hot days here in the meantime as well. ... that said: Took a little trip to " Eng" in Tirol (Austria) today and there is still a lot of snow on the trails.
I guess it was the wonders of water seeping into tiny cracks and then freezing into ice which ... needs a bit more space than the water.
I'll do my best to be reasonable for a while and stay healthy!

Gabriel-GER, I always like the super clear pics. The ice lattice and the sunset pictures are super! Do you ever collect special wood specimens?

Sry - was busy the last days. Fixing up a small flat that contains WAY to much stuff takes a lot of planning.
U mean driftwood? OOOOH Yes. I have quite a collection of "snakes" "dragons" "wizard staffs" etc.

Nope. I never do, actually. I just take pictures of the ones I find on my trips as a reminder that I'm actually not
that alone out there with my love for nature and stones. Never saw someone in the process though.
