is there is a plan b when something goes wrong. I have a Great Shapes template that has 5 pears. I normally use the second largest or when the rock dictates the next smaller size.
I was working on a MHPJ cab and chunks starting coming off the nose. Not a break and it's over but one at a time. I took the cab off the dop and redrew the next smaller size, spent a minute or so grinding to the mark and redopped.
