These are the two listing pictures of Blue Mountain jasper I bought as a BIN on facebook:

What I look for in Blue Mountain is clean (no freckles) minimal fractures, color and orbs. These slabs don't look orby but grinding a dome changes straight lines into curves. I can't wait to lay out some preforms.

Slabs arrived and I made 4 preforms from the larger slab. A super seven specimen arrived from India and I split it and made two preforms. All ready to be dopped.

I got off to a late start so too late in the day to get good pictures. High polish and darker material requires better light. I sold a Linda Marie cab recently pulled a preform to work on replace the listing.

I tried taking pictures with the same setup with morning light and got about the same results. I took the cabs on a field trip and retook the pictures in sun light.
