Super seven point.

Split.

Make a preform. The remaining piece will be a small triangle.

The seller who I bought the super seven from sent me a small piece of Indonesian agate rough and wanted to see what I could do with it. I split a piece of tumbled Bruneau and the last piece is Montana I slabbed. All dopped to work on tomorrow.

I'm pleased with how they came out except the Indonesian agate (top right). The person I bought the super seven from I had bought super seven before. I frequently send pictures of the finished cabs. The Indonesian was a rock with a note 'I'd like to see what you can do with this.' The answer is not much. I can put a shape and a polish on the piece. The rest is up to the rock.

I bought the Bruneau piece at the Highland Park web auction. I look for the pattern and need the dimensions. I saw a nice pattern and a piece that I could split. A picture is only 2 dimensional so I was only able to get one preform from the piece. The bottom that I chose was concave so I had to spend some time flattening it. It has a nice pattern so worth effort.

I dopped the super seven and fixed the scratches.

I completed the other half of the super seven and a Montana. The Montana started as a 40x24 pear, fractured and was recut as the next size on the template.

I will need to take a new picture of the triangle on the stand. The lighting makes the bottom right has scratches.
