1dave the reason you don't see the thumbs down anymore is YouTube changed policies, only the creator sees the negatives now.

It seems I am quite good at pissing people off. I don't think anyone is pissed off - I know that I'm not. As has been said you and everyone else is welcome to an opinion and what better place to voice it than a public forum? For me it is a little awkward to have a negative turn in a thread where I'm trying to be head cheerleader for a great cause, and opinions about cab contests aside, it IS a great cause honoring Ed. Hope we can agree on that point  Not a lot of people have seen the "behind the scenes" videos of a younger Tommy being the fabulous cheerleader he is...but in an odd turn of events, I happened to have been able to access some of the archives...so here y'all go...Tommy as a cheerleader!   |

So...I'm finding any reason to bump this thread up to the top. We only have ten cabbers who have stepped up for this benefit. We've had monthly contests with WAY more entries than this.
We need some more people willing to step up and throw their hat in the ring. Heck...if it makes you feel any better, Tommy sent me the worst slab out of the whole batch...so I already have one hand tied behind my back on this one!!*
*Okay...it might not be the "worst" slab! LOL

I haven't clicked on RTH in a while so I had not heard about my friend. No idea why I clicked on it today but something made me push that button. Gunna push another button, the one that adds me to the list. I have been rocking a bit lately when I get free time away from taking care of all the needy young OK OK NOT GOING THERE. Where was I? signing up I think. Please let me know what the cost is and whether or not I can pay with a debit card. I have not written a check in 30 years. You can save some postage if it is not against the rules I will furnish a slab and a photo date to show that I am not picking from my completed box. Maybe I should go back and see if there are some rules listed somewhere. I am very forgetful now days so lets do both so I don't miss it.

Old Jim Hi Jim all the details are in the link Tela sent you but in summary - It's a $100 donation buy-in and upon joining I mail out a slab to use for the contest. You'll then mail the finished cab to me for a blind judging and photo taking session. Standard method of entry is via Paypal thru which I believe you can use your debit card.
