Hi All
I have a project that I think i should use plastic pellets in as oposed to ceramics. I have pellets but I dont know if I trust what I marked on the bag and I dont want to chance ruining my project. Can I use beany baby pellets from hobby lobby/michaels or joanns or are the lapidary ones something special? Thank you in advance.

Ive always made sure to use HDPE pellets (high density polyethylene). Im not sure if it makes a difference what type you use though. Depending on how much you need you could contact a plastics supplier. I get mine from customers at my work and theyre used for plastic injection machines. Theyve always been more than generous enough to give me a bag full for free whenever I ask.
