Hi all, just found this in an old envelope and thought someone might get a kick out of it!! Looks like the cost of all parts added together equalled around $37 49 years ago...my how the times have changed! Anyways enjoy : ) ~Josh

That's wild. Not all the parts are still available, but I matched them up against current day prices for anyone else also curious. The cumulative rate of inflation of the USD since 1974 is 520.1% for reference. I can't believe they used to have a switch! I'm definitely going to modify mine and install a switch in the location pictured. Thank you for posting!

Yes, the mine dies have a switch! Didnt even think to post a pic of it...here you go, for what its worth I have seen one with the switch oriented a different direction as well, and I have seen a few older lortones w/o the switch. Also, there is VERY little slack in the wiring to the switch, if I ever replace the motor I will definitely add a little extra wire to give it a little slack!!
