Flower of Peach from the bargain bin. Facing cut of the Guadalupe. I bought the partially because I saw a druse pocket and it is still there after preliminary grinding. Two Tahomas from slabs I cut.

The Tahoma on the left is a very thick preform. The one on the right is a lot thinner so I spent about 10 minutes on it. I've developed a cabbing technique where the girdle is wider on the top than the bottom and I square it after completing the dome. It helps me from cutting into the face. I got a small chip when grinding the dome and after squaring the girdle and bringing it in a little, I got rid of it. Through 325 soft. Despite the weather report saying no rain, it is cloudy outside with a little rain, so the lighting for the picture isn't good.

The Tahoma’s are gorgeous. They remind me of stained glass windows. And the Guadalupe is striking, I really like it. Beautiful pieces. I never cease to be amazed by the talent here!

Recut as an oval through 325 soft. I'll finish it tomorrow when fresh. I dopped 4 other preforms.
