Well I tried that in last weeks batch as a test with regular candle wax, and none of the wax remained.

Is there another kind of wax you would recommend?

So very pretty! I'm curious - is the marcosite the shiny metallic material? I just got a chunk of red marcasite (from Indonesia, I think) that hasn't arrived yet. I didn't get a good look at it before bidding on it, so I'm not REALLY sure what it looks like lol...but google searches show me metallic properties too. The cabs your stuff makes are phenomenal.
