Are all those monoliths still in place? Have any scientists checked them out? Want to know more…!

"Not Bansky" was inscribed on one of them. So, I'm going to say an artist with really deep pockets.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking! LOL! When I was watching a video, I kept hoping someone would, at least, try.

Wonder what the local universities have to say. Have any of them been tested for anything, with anything? Stethoscope?
Have questions. Want answers!

I don’t like seeing anything in nature that is man made. All the hippies around here stack up those rock cairns. I kick everyone one down I see. Did it once right after I saw some people stack one up. Girlfriend told me it was uncalled for. I begged to differ 😂

Placed just to stir people’s curiosity of how they got there. Best used for target practice. I ever see one here, I’m getting all the tannerite I can get my hands on and blasting it back to where it came from 😂

I like them. Would rather leave them there intact, or put them in parks.

There was one recently just like it placed out in the middle of nowhere. If I remember correctly, I think the artist came forward. I’d love to be there when they came back proud of making the news, only to find it full of .223 rounds and blown to oblivion haha. Maybe I am an jerk 🤔lol

Maybe, but you ain't wrong. Imagine the ego it took to do that. To me, they are a blight.

I get so upset with all the litter I end up picking up when I go out in the hills, that I just see it as more garbage.

I don't think these monoliths are causing any harm... just an enigma.

In another thread there was talk about TAKING things from Federal lands. This is really no different except that someone is LEAVING something on Federal lands. Who's gonna pay to have those removed? The taxpayers. I don't think it's cute.

What about all the old graffiti on the rock walls left by those original indigenous artists?

What about all the old graffiti on the rock walls left by those original indigenous artists? Well, they certainly weren't on Federal lands then. I call that heritage.

I’d like to leave a brown monolith on their front door step.
And just to be clear. I’m not dogging on or judging you guys that think they are neat/interesting. Too a certain degree they are. I just view them as a fancy form of littering.
