Looks like nobody picked #4. That would be my choice and might be more about knowing your wraps then is about the stone. I feel like you would do something pretty cool with that shape. The cab is nice too though. Purple/lavender not real common in stones. Chuck Do you mean 3- the luna agate? I love that shape!

I want to agree a bit with what Drummond Island Rocks said. I picked #2 based on how gorgeous it was. #3 was my second choice - which I chose thinking of your wraps. Not that you asked me, but I had to agree it's got you written all over it.

It's hard not to just pick the cab that jumps out as outstanding to me, BUT Chuck was right, it's picking to wrap. #5 would be a challenge, that I'd love to see you deal with. How the heck can you wrap something that narrow, and not let the wrap seem overwhelming?

Wow, they're all great looking pieces!
I don't next to nothing about wrapping and very little about jewelry making, so I voted based off of my favorite looking pieces.
#2 - It's just a gorgeous piece and my favorite of the bunch.
#4 - I love the eye pattern in this one.
#7 - I also really like ruby in fuchsite and zoisite.
But whatever you choose, I'm sure it will look amazing! 👍

My rock club had a wrapping workshop. Instructor had a cigar box full of small stones with holes in them. We all did the same design. Very nicely thought out. I did a ring with some help and even though it was funky I was very pleased for a first wrap. Having holes in the stone make all the difference for a beginner.

Post pictures in the wire wrap section. We'd love to see them.

I just saw the questioning about maybe me cabbing #4! LOL
I was going to say I want to see that one cabbed as I've been doing a crap-ton of cabs with that shape...and have NO clue how I'm going to wrap them (eventually! LOL)!

It will be an interesting cab to wrap. LOVE kokoweef, so I think I'll be doing it soon.

Well, hot damn! There is obviously a clear choice being made. The shape is uninspiring, but I have a few ideas.
I'll let this run for grins and giggles, but I'm already thinking of wrapping the doublet.

I went ahead and locked the poll... because I FINISHED THE CAB ALREADY!!!!
You guys were a lot of help! THANK YOU! This was just what I needed to get me going.
Even though this was my least favorite cab... kinda boring... I still managed. I made it much more difficult than it needed to be, but it needed spicing up. LOL!
I'll post pics tomorrow. No light now.
Again, I really thank you for helping me out.
