I really love imperial jasper, too. These may not be top shelf, but they are still beautiful. I especially like the round. Nice work!

I don’t know if a name for that one, but have found that a heck of a lot of material from MN and WI don’t get names. It’s far less brecciated than most of the breccia in the area, so probably has a specific source rather than glacial til. If it has a mine, then it’s probably some type of silicified sedimentary stone, likely stromatolite bearing if anyone bothered to mine it. Could also be actual Mary Ellen mine material…. Not all sections will show hematite or distinct patterns.
Just me guessing based off my limited knowledge, though!
