Find out where those rocks came from John, I'll be in Las Cruces in about 2 weeks for maybe 4 or 5 days. We can get together and go out rockhounding. Oh, and just drop one of those buckets in the mail and put a priority sticker one it. You got my address!

Hey, John! Those look like local rocks to me! Keep your eyes peeled for rattlesnakes when collecting. It's a good idea to carry a snake stick and poke around under the brush before you put your hands to the ground.
I'll be your rock and fishing buddy if I ever get a day off.
Ed, let me know when you're gonna be in Cruces and maybe I can join you guys for a rock hunt...I think my work days off will be changing soon.
Susan

They might not have kept any, it could've been a kids rock collection that mom said, leave them right there, you don't need them in here! Finders keepers, leavers weepers! lol I bet you'll find some nice keepers not to far from your camp Sands. Getcha a good walkin stick ok? Don't need to hear about any snake bites!! Tonja

John-
Watch out! They don't call New Mexico The Land of Entrapment for nothing...
Seriously though, I love it here! Came out for a vacation in 1978 and moved here the next year.
Hope to see you soon for a cabbing lesson! Have a great Turkey Day!
