Looks like some of that nice yellow/red NM jasper like the stuff Susan finds. It makes really nice cabs.

" i left half of it there ill go back another day" Always go back for more if it is good, and when the well goes dry find another. A wise man once mumbled that to another and I overheard.

hey joe i took two perkasets and acouple glasses of wine --i dont have a tub in my rv but i sure do wish i did haha --- but theres some hot springs here in t-c that you can go to and get a massage and a hot soak i gotta call the lawyer and get him to set up payment i think that would be a blessing after each rockhounding trip hahaha

At least your backache is from rockhounding. Mine is from shoveling snow. A massage sounds great.

Very nice looking material , hope your back isn't a problem for too long. I have run into similar problems from time to time. but have never admitted to biting off more than I can chew, or sledge as the case may be, only that I have a Native American philosophy.
Take only what you need and leave the rest !!!
On the way out for another go at that boulder, you might want to hit the local Wal-Mart pharmacy and pick up a small bottle of Equate Migrain Formula tablets. Those things are like magic, they dull just about anything short of a broken ankle or large caliber gunshot wound.
