i was so excited when i seen that brecciated piece i laughed out loud and a OOOHHHH BABY hahaha the last two pics are of the end i cut off in the saw when i got back i cant believe it only has one fracture that looks like it will give a prob the rest is super solid

thats the place they say has the candy rock acouple pieces i found look like the candy rock but the rest is mostly mixed jasper i think could still be the ryolite just mottled colors --- was surprized by how much color was out there as float i never picked up a tool except for my rock hammer to break off acouple spots to see inside and decide to throw in the truck

Great haul John. I like that brecciated material too. The yellow and purple is a good color combo. Almost reminds me of some of the Stone Canyon Jasper.....mel

ed ill get one cut for ya the piece is just a smidge too big for my 14 inch saw it hits befor its done cuttin so i hadda tap it to get it to break off ---- but ill just tap one off for ya hahaha

On the last photo you can see where the pieces were together before Mother Nature broke it up. What a beautiful rock was made because she broke the one into small pieces. Just had to point that out. Nice find.......MrP

hey beef if you ever wanna run over and hit this place theres a hotel bout 100 yrds away and its only like a 20min 1/2 hr ride from here to the rock spot --just let me know ahead of time so i dont have anything planed that nice lady evertime i see her she tells me another place to go haha i tallked to her twice and she drew me a map to some amy and then told me how to get to this place --- cant wait to chat with her again haha
