Sands, I think the banded gray and pinkish (candy rock) Is called Apache Rhyolite. It can be found in the hills from T or C down to Deming and on into mexico. I could not get a polish in the tumbler but I cut, ground and polished some nice cabs from it on the grinder. It takes a great polish from a buffer wheel. Jason
